1. Potential Participating Projects Under Investigation for Feasibility Reports COLORADO a. Savery-Pot Hook Project The feasibility report on the Savery-Pot Hook project was completed in October, 1959. Both Colorado and Wyoming have approved the plan set forth in the report and the report is currently awaiting approval by the Bureau of the Budget before transmittal to Congress for authorization. b. Fruitland Mesa Project The investigations for the Fruitland Mesa project have been substantially completed. A proposed feasibility report has been issued for review by State and Regional interests. c. Bostwick Park Project The proposed feasibility report for the Bostwick Park project has been completed and circulated for review and comments by the States and Regional interests. d. Dolores Project The feasibility studies for the Dolores project, initiated in 1955, are approximately 82 percent complete. As a result of land classification and drainage studies, the Hovenweep area of Utah has been eliminated and some acreage adjustments due to drainage problems are expected to be made in the lower Montezuma Valley, and Towaoc areas. The feasibility report is scheduled for completion in fiscal year 1962. e. Dallas Creek Project The Bureau of Reclamation started detailed investigation during fiscal year 1959. Reservoir topography, detailed land classification, drainage studies, and water supply studies are progressing. The investigation is scheduled for completion in fiscal year 1963. f. Animas-La Plata Project The States of Colorado and New Mexico have contributed funds to the Bureau of Reclamation to accelerate the investigations on the Animas-La Plata project. Feasibility studies, designs and estimates are on schedule leading to a report in June, 1961. g. San Miguel Project Feasibility investigations on the San Miguel project were initiated in 61
