We are content to appoint as Mr. Anderson's successor Mr. Walter W. McKirahan of Muskingun College, Ohio. I will write Mr. McKirahan immediately, giving him official notice of his appointment, and arranging with him for transportation to the field when he is ready to go. We will date his commission September 1st next, and will affix his salary at $700. I hope you have made no mistake.
