Show Tarkio College<br> Tarkio, Missouri<br> Rooms of President. <br><br> Principal George B. Sweezy [sic], <br> Salt Lake City, Utah. <br><br> My dear Mr. Sweezy [sic]:- Mr. J. Clyde Elder, one of our students, is a candidate for a position in the Salt Lake Collegiate Institute. Mr. Elder is a member of the Senior Class and has been our Physical Director for the current year. He was Assistant in the Gymnasium of Carleton College, Northfield, Minn., year before last and Assistant in our own Gymnasium last year. He is a young man of good ability, splendid character and fine athletic attainments. He has been making a specialty of the natural sciences. He has had one year of Greek but is not fit to do any work in Greek without considerable preparation. I believe that he can do your work in science and be very helpful with your boys.
