Show EDWI CANNO ' ED" WI D R B R 22 20 1 BEC: He looked young in that. I was going to a k y u if h wa - mu t b hi high school graduation picture or something. NED: Yeah. BEC: (coughs) I'm sorry. Those two are printed upside down. Then I have a-that's the fire control men. NED: BEC: NED: BEC: NED: Where in the world did you get these? This is on a website. I got it from the Internet. Have you seen that website? No, my wife's on the computer with family history. You don't get computer time. Now these guys are all radar men. George Cook, a dear friend of mine from Texas. Yeah, and they were in, we were in CIC, which is Combat Information Center, tracking radar, by radar, enemy planes. BEC: Uh-huh. NED: That's interesting. Yeah, this guy was a good friend. In fact, I think he may have joined the Church. He and I hit if off real good and he was always asking questions. And I still hear from him once in a while and we've had reunions that I've gone to and we see each other there. BEC: That picture is a duplicate of this one here, of the control. But this is, what is that, the fire control? NED: Wait, that's fire control. And that's what I-they changed me from radar to fire control. But I don't- BEC: I wondered if you were in there? 21 |
