In this letter, Sheldon Jackson writes Robert McNiece concerning the finances of a college. He states he has received information about the finances from Mr. McNiece, and also announces he and his wife are sending a check towards Mr. McNiece's salary and a check towards the salary of the college's professors. Sheldon Jackson then comments on how Mr. Bailey should visit Washington to speak with himself and General Eaton concerning the school, and on how he plans to ask Mrs. Emerson about the work of the Erie Presbytery. He then praises Mr. McNiece and Professor Sweazy for their work with the college. |
