Show R. G. M -2-
which I received. The buildings that are crossed out in red ink, were torn down this summer. Like all the old institutions** Colleges located* in the** cities* they are very much hampered for room for extension and are buying up interior city property at very high prices. I am constantly impressed by the experience of the older institutions of the value of getting plenty of land for future uses while it is vacant and unimproved.
Kindly send me 15 or 20 College catalogs if you have them to spare and if there is any expense attached to it, let me know the amount.

Very truly yours,
Sheldon Jackson*
General Agent of Education in Alaska.

1 Enclosure*

* handwritten inserts in the original typewritten document
** "institutions" and "the" are crossed out

|
