Show 10 SENKWA-SH A thick paper of the Atsu-gami class. First produce in Iyoin the year of the Empire 51 (1573-1591 A. D.). Made of pure mulberr bark; at present manufactured in Tosa, Iyo, Yamato, Bingo, etc SET-KO-SE A very smooth finished paper used in Japan for making envelopes an containers. Made in Tokyo Prefecture. Size about 22% by 41% inches SHASUKI-TENGUCGHO (Or 5 A soft thin paper ma g-fibred mulberry bark and used i Japan for filtering, mpk.m, nackmg‘ etc. Made in Gifu Prefecture SHIBU-GAM This paper, brow ¢, has been made in Japan from time immeo juice of the persimmon, known in Japa as shibu. Made of paper mulberry and mitsumata, although gamp its manufacture. It is largely employe as silk-worm "egg" paper SHICHI-KUSU Used in Japan for handkerchiefs. The ancient Nobe-gami was o imilar quality although somewhat thicker. Made in Kochi in a smal size, 8 by 11 inches SHIDAI-S Atsu-gami rui (thick paper class).
