May 1673. on prit un Chien ,& JL, Mr- Wciieraan Chirurgien du Roy, luy ayant découvert la Veine jugulaire, il l'ouvrît avec fa Lancette, 8c mit auffi-toft furla Playeun tampon de linge trempé dans l'Ef-fence Styptique.Cela fait il ouvrit l'autre côré du col du mefme Chien , 8cdiffequa les Mut clés, jufqu'à ce qu'il -euft découvert l'Artère Carotide, il ouvrit encore cette Artère avec fa Lancette, & y mit enfuite un tampon de linge trempé dans la mefme EfTence. Ces tampons ayant efté couverts d'une Compreffe environ un quart d'heure , il les retira de la Flaye5&i comme il en fortoit encore un peu de Sang , quoyque très-lentement, il y remit de nouveaux tampons trempez dansl'Eflen-ce,8c les y ayant laifles un autrequart d'heure , il les retira, 8c on trouva les VaifTeaux par-faitemens fermez 8c confolidez. 2 Le mefme jour ce Chirurgien fit l'extirpation de la Mamelle d'une Femme, qui avoit un Cancer ulcéré en cette Partie, 8c qui eftoit fort foible pour avoir perdu beaucoup de Sang par un Vaifleau qui s'eftoit ouvert depuis quelque temps. Apres avoir coupé la Mamelle, il arrefta le Sang des Artères, en appliquant deffus des linges trempez dans l'Ef- fence 3 Certificat de M.Needhjtm Médecin , infère dans $e Tournai, z Expérience fur la Mamelle d'une Femme. |
