If the spirit of this new Constitution is carried out, I feel confident the unnatural rivalry between colleges will be forgotten, and the various student organizations, such as the Dramatic Club, the Debating Club, the Musical Club, all will be strong and permanent. The days of a University without life or spirit, are no more, and we have growing here one of the finest Universities in the West.Xot long ago, a student up here was asked whether he was attending school, and he was much ashamed to confess that he was a University man. We are not here to feel ashamed, and the man who is afraid to back up his college, who has none of its interests at heart, but prefers to criticize it at every turn, is a man unfit for any college in the country, and especially the University of Utah.A good word spoken sincerely about our University of Utah is the least you can do towards making this t'he finest University in the land.
