But the ladies cleared fifty dollars on a Leap Year dance and they were allowed to remain.Well, they are all Seniors now, and are not feeling bad over it, either. The main event of this year was the banquet given by the Juniors and that certainly was "the goods." The Juniors are to be complimented for their masterly management of the affair.A very pretty design for a Class pin has been made for the '05 Class. It consists, essentially, of a jewelled U, with a solid center containing some distinguishing feature for each course, but having '05 in common. Some who have seen the design think it would be well for future classes to adopt the same style of pin.Among the Class are man}' who have taken an active part in school affairs: in school politics, in athletics, in debating, and in dramatics. Perhaps those who have figured most prominently are Miss Knudsen, of the Dramatic Club; Wade and Carlson, in athletics, and Carlson and Soule in debating Others have held offices in the student body and other college organizations.Seniors leave the school their best wishes. |
