Coach Prouse rounded out a crew that was able to out-point the varsity on more than one occasion. The result of the classy freshman season will be shown next fall in the presence in varsity togs of such stars as Boberg, Gil-lespie, Burrows, Merrill, Moyle, Jones, Burbidge, Collett and others. The Frosh mixed in with their hard work four games, in three of which they were successful. They defeated Ricks Academy at Rexburg, October 21st, score 56 to 0. The Aggie freshmen at Logan October 28th, score 20 to 14. B. Y. College here November 10th, score 6 to 0; and lost to the B. Y. U. Freshmen at Provo, 6 to 20. The latter defeat hardly does them justice as they were seriously handicapped by the absence of stars at the time. Page One Hundred Eighty-Six |
