Published Location This image, engraved by Tilly, was published in La Nature, no 1380 (4 Nov 1899), as figure 5 (p. 361), to accompany Albert Tissandier's article "Le Mont Rainier et le Parc Washington aux États-Unis", with the caption "Le mont Rainier et la petite station balnéaire de Long Mirès. (D'après nature.)" http://cnum.cnam.fr/CGI/fpage.cgi?4KY28.53/365/100/532/0/0 Associated text (p. 362): "La figure 5 montre Long Mirès, petite station très primitive, au moins lorsque j'y étais en l'année 1893. -- Placée au milieu des forêts, dans un site délicieux, Long Mirès possède des eaux ferrugineuses et gazeuses; on y vient prendre des bains chauds naturels. La vue superbe du mont Rainier embellit encore cette jolie localité"
