Description |
A perfectly flat expanse of prairie extends to the middle ground, beyond which is seen a line of rolling hills and above that the sky, filling over half the image. Two men are shown in the foreground tending a controlled burn. From the very straight edges of the burn rise plumes of smoke which are drifting off to the viewer's right at about a 45 degree angle. |
