However, we will hope & endure & Spring will come at last. All are well-& only OS man died on the journey? We have been very prosperous, so far-all things considered, accordingly. Will write again by the mail, but send, as more likely to reach you. Them mail contract was made too low. There is not money to defray the expenses of so many animals as & die in taking ii in winter-So thev tell me here. I write under difficulties & in great haste. Love to all friends- VT sister E- 18
