Description the Governor's mansions & offices. This afternoon Prest Young came into this office, heard the letters brot. in by last Californian mail read, went upstairs and sealed some women to Bros. J. C. Wright and Nicholls of Box Elder. Thurs 28th. Weather superlatively fine, almost all hands busy, and the streets dull. Prest. Y. now in Office, hearing news- paper scraps read, seems still wearied & fatigued : retired for a time; at 3. o. C. Prest. Kimball called still wearied. Prest. Wells more or less about, and seems less fatigued. Prest. Y. sat and read in the "Millenial Star" just received f[ro]m Eng. by mail till dark, then retired from his office.
