She was born in Parowan, Utah on Sept. 24, 1912 to Albert and Deslie Anderson. Her education began in Washington County schools. She graduated Irom BAC in Cedar City. She was Postmistress in Springdale, following her marriage to Herbert K. Christensen in 1931 . who died Jan. 21 . 1950. Ullian laught elementary grades in Hurricane and Provo and Brigham Young University after obtaining her masters degree from there. She also received a doctorale in psychology at the Western Reserve. On Jan. 29. 1963. she married Willard G. Smrth. They moved to Salt lake City. and she taught at the University 01 Utah until retirement, at which time they moved to Provo. She was an avid hiker, reader and traveler. Lillian is survived by her husband: Willard G. Smith, Provo; her son: Eldon Herbert (AntoineHe) Christensen; stepson: Heber Smith: stepdaughters: Annette (Gary) Hill: and Carol Ann Ctiristensen: sisters: Ramona Chambertain; Fae Picklesimer; Harriet (Lavoid) Leavitt; and a brother: George Lowe (DeloriS) Anderson, and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her hUSband: Herbert Christensen; and a son: Albert Leon Christensen. Visitation for family and friends will be at Berg Mortuary.
