This was, apparently, in response to a note on our statement. The Abstract, however, will have to be delivered to the Bank to be placed in escrow with the other papers. Your insurance was in the amount of ~7,000.00 and was for the period from April 27, 1957 to April 27, 1960. The premium was ~70.00. This means that in prorating the insurance, the Buyers should pay you for that portion of the premium computed from the date of your Agreement with Hardy to April 27, 1960, which would be approximately ~44.75. I requested that Mr. Hardy contact Clair S. Terry, the insurance agent, who is also the Assistant Cashier at the Bank, and ascertain the exact prorated figure. Yours very truly, VPN:kc |
