Date 1965
Description Academic 'underachievement is becoming a concern -of increasing _magnitude to educators, and especially those whose main interest is counseling and guidance. This concern-may be the result of the relatively recent definition of guidance goals, many of which deal with aiding students to realize their full potential as part of the process of education, This "guidance" goal has also become a primary purpose to most educators. The -concern may also be a product of increasing awareness -of the non-intellective factors that influence student; academic performance.
