Sweazey, <br> Principal Collegiate Institute, <br> Salt Lake City <br><br> Dear Friend, <br><br> I am very glad that I am able to inform you that my father has already passed through the crisis of his illness and that everything barring accidents, at present seems favorable for his final recovery. The crisis as you expected was passed before we arrived. Considering his previous state of health, I feel that it is almost short of a miracle that he has pulled through as well as he has. At least for once we have good reason to feel very thankful for the fortunate turn in affairs have taken. My great relief may have caused me to give you a wrong confession in his true state in the above. In other words he is still very weak and in danger but with good care I feel confident of bringing through alright. <br><br> Being intimately acquainted with his state of health, with the fact that he has chronic chest trouble and is otherwise run <br> [Continues on next page.] <br><br> |
