Show ( ( 2 need more you have only to let me know. It was 11 month yesterday since you left us & you no doubt feel that it has been a very important epoch in your history. The worst part of your mission is over for the first year is always preliminary and tedious,but after that when you are thouroghly in the traces you feel that your labors amount to something. 1 feel by the tenor of your letters that you are beginning to enjoy your labors & you will find in future that time will not hang heavy on your hands- Quite a number of our young men are called this tall to all parts of our missionary fields,but the names are not published so we only get the name of one ocoasionely. Orson Romney has been released from his German Mission owing to his father's trouble~. Our not got his house to suit him yet. He would like to get married this fall but he has got such extravagant notions about fitting up,that he cannot see his way through. Clawson busting up in business and expecting ~q_go to the Pen,shuts off the prospect of a grand reception,by which ~ many says he wants to get back in presents some of the ~¢--t dollars he has spent on other people/a weddings,so l expect he will let it lay over till spring. The prospect of a dull winter and very little work has something to do with it also,altho we promised to take them home and let them live with us,board and rent free: He don't scatter his money around as ~ed Vo-but p~every dollar into improvements ••"- is teaching~ the piano. *"' is getting along nicfely. ls getting to be quite a young Lady-sits (sings?) in the quoir. Is a very pretty girl and as good as she is pretty:- all the little ones are growing finely & are all well except baby who is cutting teeth.
