A steamboat leaves Central Wharf, Boston, for Portland, Me. Fare about $1 00. From Boston, to Balk, Gardiner, and Hallowell. Fare to Bath $1 00. To the two latter places $1 50 each. A steamer runs from Hallowell to Waterville. From Boston to Bangor, stopping at Thomaston, Camden, and Belfast, &c. Fare to the two former places $2 00; to Belfast $2 50; and to Bangor $3 00. Passengers by taking the cars of the Eastern Railroad or those of the Boston aud Maine Railroad for Portland, may leave the latter place by steamboat for Bango1· and intermediate landing, and from Bangor may return direct to Boston. A steamer runs from Eastern steamboat wharf, Boston, every Mor. day, at J 1 o'clock, for Eastpo'rt, MP. ., direct; anrl every Thursday, at 11 o'clock, for Eastpm·t, touching at Portland, Me. From Eastport, anotht.' r steanter will convey passengers to St. Jo!tn, N. B., and also to St . .!Jndrews, N. B., and Calais, Me. Fare from Boston to Eastport $5 00. From Do~ton to St. John $7 00. From Portland to Eastport $4 50, and from Portland to St. John $6 00. These are cabin fares. Steamboats run from Boston to Naltant, and, also, to Hingham, &c. N. B.
