The average municipal withdrawal requirement exclud- ing reservoir evaporation was 195 gpcd. There were 40 (74%) municipal systems which utilized groundwater source, 12 (22%) which utilized a sur- face water source, and 2 (4%) which utilized a combination ground-surface water source. Eighty percent of the total subregional municipal withdrawal requirement was supplied by surface water sources. The remainder was supplied by ground sources. The number of municipal systems serving various population ranges is shown in Table 19.
