Show XXVII "Measure once, cut twice." from Proverbs of the RedDesert Warriors By the time the small band from Round Valley secured the hidden computer complex, cleared the rise, and reached the end of the trail into the large mining valley of Westwick, the people there had been alerted about the Four Kingdoms' army and were manning the two approaches. A spirited argument was in progress in the middle of the main excercise yard between the apparent leader of the Commendium team based at Westwick, a tall, buxom knight, and a young man who was apparently her second-in-command Dr'Igor rode up to the two purposefully. .The second-in-command turned out to be none other than Pym, an impressive sight in light chain mail and wearing a helmet of scarlet leather trimmed with finely wrought steel and scarlet gauntlets and boots. He had turned around and hailed Dr'Igor as soon as he saw him ride into view. "Mother here," he said in exasperation, "wishes to allow these brutes to come into the valley to be ambushed!" He turned a flushed face to Erica. "I say that is indeed unsporting of her!" "My dear Pym," said Dr'Igor sourly. "Use thy head, for there's nothing sporting about it! These brutes know not what sporting means. They're full set on slaughtering us all and no jokes either way." "Aye, Pym," added Erica to the young man.
