Householder before embarking on his EarthColonySystem tour in 2386 Back in NewOxbridge, Visitor Householder was patiently awaiting Chu's young assistant deputy who was to conduct him through part of the Governor's memory banks in the city's catacombs. The young assistant had already taken the Visitor on a tour of the Governor's extensive hardware- it could hardly be encompassed in one pass. It was everywhere. Now Visitor Householder was anxious to tour the best part, the BauerWorlde Governing Computer's legendary memory. The young assistant rounded a corner, PassThru chip in his hand. He smiled. His bright hair was especially luxuriant this morning and almost obscured his eyes. "Full ready?" he asked. "Ready;" said the Visitor. The young man conducted his guest through a series of sliding doors with his chip and down several levels by way of an elevator. Then they stepped out into a dimly lit chamber whose recesses were in shadow. Visitor Householder felt a momentary pang of disappointment.
