Show the right to do all of which is hereby claimed and that he, and they, further intend thence to take said waters from said lake by means of the intake now used for such purpose, in Section 34, Township 5 South, Range 23 East, S.B.B. & M., in said Riverside County. Dated this 14 day of September, A. D. 1908. C. C. Hobson, Witness. C. W. Petit, H. C. Foster, Witness. Appropriator. We, C. C. Hobson and H. C. Foster, each citizens of the United States of America, and of the State of California, do hereby certify that we, and each of us, were present and saw the original notice and claim, of which the foregoing is a true, full and correct copy, posted by said C. W. Petit, at the place described in said notice as the point of intended diversion, and that same was so posted on the 14 day of September, 1908, and on which last named date we have hereunto set our hands and seals. Petit, the person who posted the within Notice of Water Appropriation, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten dollars, this day paid to me by Palo Verde Mutual Water Company, a corporation organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California, and having its principal place of business at Oxnard, California, do hereby grant, assign, transfer and set over unto the said Palo Verde Mutual Water Company, the said corporation, all of my right, title and interest in, to and under the foregoing claim of the right to appropriate water, made as aforesaid, and |
