Show 1^ Sharia Wadl el-IIll Maadi - Egypt June 10, 1955 My dear Dr. Cameron: , Your gratifying letter of June 6 has just reached me to-day, and, as you will note from the date of my present letter, I am sending you my reply by return of mail* When 1 wrote my last letter of June 3, 1 was probably a little impatient about certain queries which have now been answered by the splendid news outlined in your account of our future abode at Arm.. Arbor. In the first place, my wife joins me in conveying our full approval of your decision to rent Professor Pasquariello1 a house on our behalf, and we can hardly thank you enough for the good action. 1 have no doubt that we shall be able to stand the upping of |250 for the whole term. Ky wife is especially pleased with the prospect of a modern house, so compact, with all the bedding facilities, silverware, kitchen utensils etc, which will render it possible for us to move in without the slightest difficulty. She wishes to assure Krs« PasquarJLelle that she will no everything in her power tc leave the house in June 1956 at least as perfect as she will have received it in September 1955. !Io-4ay we have already been exploring sailings to lew York with various companies. In the course of next week, we hope to reach a decision in this matter* Since we have a house at Ann Arbor from September the first, we shall not hesitate to sail a little earlier than we have planned, surely some time in the second half of August.
