Show rv l1%( Aziz S. Atiya -2- June 6, 1955 dishes, silverware, etc. Thus, you will be able to move in at once. The figures indicating my understanding of your income as stated in my letter of April 22 were, of course, tentative, for I do not understand all the problems involved. But, I am confident that those approximate figures will prove to be generally accuratee They are, of course, not to be understood in terms of a binding "agreement", but I may say again, I am confident that your income will be adequate - even better than adequate - for the period that we shall have the pleasure of having you with us. Yen, I am delighted that things have worked out this way. Mrs. Goldstein and I sought long and earnestly for the kind of home we wanted you to be in, and I may say frankly that this was the best of all possible choices. Professor Miller has not as yet ^complied with my request that he forward the Medieval Academyfs check to us. He may be waiting until after the beginning of the fiscal year, July 1. If he sends it to us in the near future, do you wish us to forward your $1000, as representing your travel allowance^ or shall vie keep it here waiting for your arrival either in Ann Arbor or in New York? Please accept our greetings to you, to Mrs. Atiya, in fact to your whole family. Sincerely, George G. Cameron GGC:cg ; .•••• |
