Other events in the year included: Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, Andres Segovia, a recital by Gladys Gladstone and Harold Schneier, and finally a concert by Walter Gieseking. X Irina Borowska starred in Ballet Russe. World-famed Walter Gieseking performed in the Salt Lake Tabernacle as part of the Lecture and artist events. A master virtuoso of the guitar, Andres Segovia was well received at his Kingsbury Hall performance. Fiesta Mexicana dancers fight it out with murderous-looking machete knives, while the pretty girl who has caused the battle, implores them to stop. |
