Show of the Union are centered on the many activities that have been the concern of the present Union board. Actually, the facilities of the Union are many and varied. The building itself provides facilities in four general areas - large group meeting facilities, food service facilities, recreation area, and student organization space. These facilities occupy five floors. The building contains 148,000 square feet of space and helps to cast the perspective of the future of the campus activities. The year's events will center themselves in the Union - Frosh week, Hello Day dances, Homecoming dinners, and on through the year. Committees will meet in spacious comfortable rooms and will have facilities to carry on in an organized fashion. Administration of student body activities will be facilitated in the Union. This is the new union center as it appears looking from the east to the west. The ballroom and faculty-quarters are in the wing to the left.
