Show FEBRUARY 4.-Utah won an easy victory over the Montana team in a onesided contest, resulting in a 52-29 score.FEBRUARY 6.-In a hard fought game at Logan, Utah lost to the Aggie team, with a final score of 41-37.FEBRUARY 7.-With the score 27-17 against them at the opening of the second half, the Utah players strengthened their attack on the B. Y. C, redeeming themselves with a 41-37 score in their favor.FEBRUARY 10.-The Montana quintette showed little spirit in the game at the Deseret Gymnasium, making it easy for the Utah men to run up the large score of 82-17. At no time was the final result doubtful, the only question being that of "how high?"FEBRUARY 11.-Not to be downed-or drowned-by "Fresh" showers, the valiant Sophomores finally had a successful group picture taken.FEBRUARY 11.-The merriment and informality filling the air at the Fraternity dance were periodically intensified by many pleasant surprises-the distinctly masculine decorations, the attractive programs bearing the insignii of the several Fraternities-culminating in a feast befitting the gods, with quantities of ambrosia and nectar in their modern versions.FEBRUARY 13.-The second initiation of Skull and Bones caused much excitement when "Smeed," "Mary Jane," Diogenes, the rug man, and a pretty little girl, apparently happy comrades, amused the students with their droll, ludicrous, and laughable antics.FEBRUARY 13.-The first Inter-Collegiate Debate presented a well-rounded and interesting contest, in which the Utah team brought forth a strong constructive argument, but was outclassed in debating tactics, so that the decision was made in favor of Montana. |
