When the '•orchestra" arrived, all participated in Virginia reels and ghost dances, interspersed with popular songs.NOVEMBER 7.-"Extra! Extra! All about Utah's Stars and Boulder's Squad." Pink sheet brought to campus with many good cuts and articles.NOVEMBER 7.-A night parade and exciting clash for possession of Boulder's goat, which was cornered in the Empress Theatre after locking horns with street car traffic. Flots, stunts, boulders, and noise furnished the necessary ingredients for a jolly evening.NOVEMBER 8.-Boulder's goat breaks away and presents Utah with a severe jolt. Boulder 30, Utah 11. Crimson rooters retaliate with a barbecue at night and, although the revels were prepared in anticipation of victory, the fact that Utah's team did not win had little effect upon the success of the event.NOVEMBER 12.-The A. F's, filled with an overwhelming desire to improve civic health, quarantined the Gamma Phi House; but after some hesitation, the girls defied their tormentors, and courageously entered the forbidden doorway.200 |
