Show JIUTAH Track prospects were brighter this year than any previous season. Despite the fact that a late spring kept the men from getting in the best of condition before the first meet, which was held in Logan on May 1. Utah cinder path merchants and weight and aerial experts completely outclassed the Aggie men in the dual meet, which resulted in 75 points going to the Crimson, and the Aggies satisfying themselves with 50 counters. HUGH A. WING Captain, Track The track squad selected at the first of the season follows: Sprints-100 yards, 220 yards and 440 yards, Hugh Wing, Albert Dunyon, Bert. Ballard, Clare Woodbury, Floyd Anderson, Kenneth Barnes, Spot Ure, Keith Kimerer and Ferguson. Hurdles-Mickey Oswald, Ivan Decker, Y. Anderson and Ralph Stewart. Half-mile-Lee Mays, Sayman Kerr, Lynn Hales and Earl Jones. Mile-Lynn Hales, Sayman Kerr and Mickey Cannon. Weights-Mitt Romney, Ferguson, Norm Godbe, Ivan Dickey and Strmgham. High Jump-Floyd Anderson, J. Anderson, Gunderson, Merlon Stevenson and Jensen. Pole Vault-J. Anderson, Calder and Watkins. Broad Jump-Floyd Anderson, Hugh Wing, Ferguson and Watkins.
