Kathryn adjouted the luncheon at 2:20 P. FINAL BUSINESS SESSION, Sunday, June M. 9, 1974 The meeting was called to order by President Arletta Elton at 2:25 P. M. Courtesy Resolution ERA Anna Stark gave her report Resolution for this Convention. Resolutions and read the Courtesy Copy attached under EXhibit;' on President Elton read a letter to the group concerning the Utah Federation of BPW, Clubs, Inc. joining the ERA Utah Coalition group. She also read a letter of recommendation from National President Jean L. McCarrey that the State Federations support the ERA Coalition l Exhibit SB' groups. . President Elton introduced Carol Toomey, President of the Carol Toometah Coa1itioB for ERA. Carol spoke to us btief1y, inviting us to of Utah attend the meetings on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P. M. at Central City Community Center in Salt Lake Coalition City. to us By-Law Report She informed t18'- \ that the group was working hard to get information and that a Coalition group was being formed in Ogden. Parker, By-Law Chairman, presented the follOWing By-Law Change fer approval and state. that it bad been approved at Winter Board Meeting for presentation at State Convention and was published in the Convention issue of the State Magaai.e. Miriam Article VII, Sec. 9 reads: Parliamen tarian change pariiaDeBtar1an The shall be expected to atten. all meeti of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and the State Convention. She shall be a member ex-officio of the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors, the by-laws committee, the credentials committee and tae resolutions committee. As proposed: The parliamentarian shall be expected to attend all meetings of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and the State Conventiem. She shall be a member ex-officio of the by-laws committee, credentials committee and the resolution committee. This deletes"'she shall be ex-efficio msmber of the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors." This deletion is proposed because Article VI, State Officers, sets forth who comprise the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors. The Parliamentarian is not listed.
