Mrs. Glen D. (Leona) Crowther and Mrs. Margaret W. (Peggy) Hansen shou Id in our opinion be given spe cial praise and recognition for the work they did in connection with the passing of S.B. No. 11. Mrs. Hansen (whose father was a retired fireman) prepared numerous letters, attended mee tinqs with the retired firemen, their wives and the widows in an effort to the get message across to the Legis lators that the retired firemen and their widows needed some financia I assistance. Mrs. Crowther (whose husband is a retired fireman) and her husband were the organizers back of getting the letters reproduced, stapled, and or mailed. In addition, signed,addressed,delivered Mrs. husband were the 1974 Budget Session present every day during an? at the Ccpi tol Bui ldinq providing other retired firemen and their wives with badges so that they wou ld be recognized as a group representing the retired firemen and their widows.
