She stated that after adoption of the platform the membership can not against the National Legislative Platform. go Jane informed the assembly that 33 states have ra,tified ERA. Use the material in the foyer to support ERA, take it back to your clubs. The action items are in the April issue of the National magazine and the clubs should be made aware of them. Jane informed us that we have until 1979 to ratify ERA but the the better. She informed 8S that they felt unabated zeal over the contributions received to promote ratificatien. National has set sooner a goal of a -quarter of 8 million dollars • Jane infod us of the Hemispheric Friendship Conference to be held in Febr, 1975 and the International FederatioD Convention to be held August 4th thru 10th, 1974 in Buenos Aires. Armstrong is from Calgary, Alberta, canada and is lnIIleciiate Past President of the canada BPW group. aad a National Comodttee Mrs. Chairman. She extended aer greetings te the CODveatieR Body and told them that we were all in this tiling together, Canada i8 doing just what we are dOing here. She hoped tkat we would have a very fruitful time at our convention. National Representative Jane continued her presentation of the National Business. She asked the question of the worksaops. Arletta stated that because of the time we would be unable to bave the workshops today and asked Frances Lenox, CoRventioa chairman, to see if we could have them tomorrow. Jane informed the conventio. body that the National Program was in the March issue of the National Magazine and was called "Blueprints for Women". It was in two parts, Part 1 She stated conceming, Know Yourself. that good programming holds the member. Include all members on committees. Have a variety of programs and use your own membershi,..
