Show 368 President Cowlee read a letter from Mr, Gus Back- man of the 1916 Utah Covered Wagon Days Committee in NTAH COVERED WAGON DAYS COMMITTEE REQUESTS USE OF STADIUM FOR ANNUAL ENTERTAINMENT; which a request was made for the use of the Stadium for the week of July 19-21;, 191.3, inc. for the-purpose of _ conducting, its annual community entertainment. In his U letter Mr. Baclonan assuredthe Board that if the request was granted, a bond guaranteeing the return of the prc- " if". . perty in as good shape as when'it was occupied, would be provided, if desired, and further guaranteed to protect " the University against any claim of any type which may t result from the use of the facilities or the Stadium. BOARD APPROVES; Mr. Backman stated in his letter that permission to con- duct this celebration had been obtained from Lt. Generel‘ GROUNDS COMMITTEE ‘TO MAKE ARRANGEi DeWitt, Commander.
