Show #5uéBoard of Regents-~January 19, 1943 enrollment was in the autumn quarter. The totals also show a loss of 415 students between 1940-41 and 1941-42 or a little less than 9%. The difference between the fall quarter of this present school year and the fall quarter of the preceding year (1941-42) is only 249 students or about 6.8%. The table indicates also that the enrollment on Tuesday, January 19, 1942 was 175 students fewer than the total enrollment in the winter quarter last year. If we compare the enrollment of this year with the enrollment on the corresponding day last year, January 19, there are 154 fewer students or a decrease of only 4%%. Besides the regularly enrolled students shown in the above table, there are many civilians and enlisted men receiving instruction in special- ized courses. While most of these courses are given on the campus, some of the E.S.MaW.T:'courses are given in Ogden, Provo, Price, and off the campus in Salt Lake City. The following table shows the total in regular courses and in the specialized war training courses: TOTAL WINTER QUARTER ~ RESIDENCE ENROLLMENT (Including the special war training courSes) Regular student enrollment (See preceding table)....,.. 3200 *E.S.M.W.T.
