Show adjacent to the campus or the University of Utah at Salt Lake City, Utah, suitable for use by the Bureau of Mines for the mining,exPeriment station at Sc t Lake City, at a cost not to exceed $300,009, including piumbing, Lighting, heating, and 3 other general-service equipment and necessary roads, walks and ground improvement: Provided, That a site adjacent to said campus, acceptable to the Secretary of the Interior, is flonatedtanfi conveyed by deed giving absolute title to th ‘,United States Govcrnment. ‘ SEC. 2. There is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out ' of any money in the Treasury not otherwise aporoprieted, the sum of $300,000 fOr carrying out the purposes of this Act.""~ -NOW THEREFORE, it being to the Interest of the UNIVER- SITY, in order to effectuate the aforesaid purposes, and by virtuo-of the powers expressly conferred, BE IT RESOLVED BY the BOfiRD OF REGENTS of_the UNIVERSiTY or UTAH that a piece and parcel of real property, described as_folloWs, to wit: "Beginning at a point 30 ft. 3. and 560.5 ft. S. of the N. boundary of the land grant of June 23, 1930 to a - point 80 ft. 3. and 60 ft. W. of the NE. corner of said land grant; thence 5. 400 ft. parallel to and 60 ft. W. of the bopnd» ary between said land grant and toe Fort Douglas Military Ree serVation; thence W. 544.5 ft.; thence N. 400 ft. to the point 'of beginninq;-embracing on area of 5 acres more or Less and lying entirely in the w. ,3.- of Sec. 4, T. 1 5., R. J. 3., 3.1... B. & M., situate in the Northeast corner of the campus of the University of Utah.
