Show Cemmittee be adopted which was seconded by Regent Thatcher and carrieda . The Audit report completed by the State Auditors covering en examination of Univereity accounts and records from July 1, 1956 to June 50, 1937, was reported on by the President. After reading the comments of the report, and a brief discussiOn, On motion of Regent Ingehretecn the report was accepted and ordered filedo Regent Gelligan, Chairman or the Grounds cammittec, to which was referred, at the last meeting, the matter or further investigating the prepoaed building or e service station on Thirteenth East and Second South etreeta, made his report to the Board. Eb stated that hi; committee had called on mr. Sweet, on'whoso property the Service Station is to be constructed; and voiced objection to this proposed project. Er. Sweet had stated it was necessary for him to dispose of or realize some revenue from this property. The Board further discussed this matter, and in view of the protest filed with the Salt Lake City Zoning Board by the President in behalf oi the University, objecting to the building of a service station on this site, Regent Mbnson moved that the Board apprvve or the protest which had been made by the |
