Show -' ' ,1,1. electricity to said City and its inhabitants; nor shall the granting of said franchise constitute any limitation on the right of said City to build a generating plant and distribution system for furnishing electricity to itself and its inhabitants. Section 6. The term of this franchise shall be for a period of twenty years from the effective date of this Ordinance, unless the same is canceled or terminated as in this Paragraph provided for. Cedar City shall bave the right to terminate this franchise for nonperformance on the part of the Grantee as follows: If the Grantee shall fail to comply with any of the terms, provisions or agreements of this Ordinance on its part to be performed or kept as set forth in this Ordinance, Cedar City may notify the Grantee of any breach or breaches which it claims on the part of the Grantee. Said notice shallbe in writing, by registered mail, addressed to the Grantee at Cedar City, Utah, and shall specify the way or ways in which the City claims that the Grantee has failed to comply with the terms and provisions of this Ordinance on the Grantee's part to be performed and kept. The Grantee shall be allowed a period of six months after receiving any such notice in which to rectify or perform any omission or failure to perform specified in said Notice. In case the Grantee shall have been guilty of any failure of performance specified in any such notice and shall fail within six months from the date of receipt of such notice to rectify or perform any omission or failure to perform specified in any such notice, then and in any such event the City Council of said Cedar City, after a hearing thereon, of which hearing the Grantee has been given ten days written notice by registered mail to attend, may thereupon cancel and terminate this franchise, otherwise the same shall remain in full force and effect.
