Res. 3, 38, 41, 52, 55, 64, 73, 75, 95, 96, 100, 107, 113, 126, 128, 133, 135, 146, 148, 150, 152, 153, 164 - These were House resolutions to take the Colorado River contro- versy to the Supreme Court. They were introduced by the 23 members of the California House delegation, namely, Reps. Scudder, Engle, Johnson, Havenner, Shelly, Miller, Allen, Anderson, White, Werdel, Bramblett, Nixon, Poulson, Douglas, McDonough, Jackson, King, Doyle, Holifield, Hin- shaw, Sheppard, Phillips and McKinnon. ------Hearings were held by the House Judiciary Subcommittee No. 3, on March 28 and April 4, 5, 6 and May 2, 1949. ------There was no final action by the subcommittee, and all 23 resolutions died with the 81st Congress. |
