Show BOOK Regional Solicitor Draft 4/5/57 GRANT DEED Palo Verde Irrigation District, an irrigation district created, organized and existing under and by virtue of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California, approved June 21, 1923 (Chapter 452, Statutes of California, 1923), as amended, known as and designated "Palo Verde irrigation district act", for and in consideration of the construction by the United States of the Palo Verde Diversion Dam in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Congress approved August 31, 1954 (68 Stat. 1045), and the provisions of the contract dated October 7, 1955 (No. IU-O6-W-9I1), between the said District and The United States of America, does by these presents grant and convey to The United States of America and its assigns, all that real property situate in Riverside County, State of California, described as follows: A parcel of land situate In Riverside County, California, in fractions] Section Nineteen (19), Township Five (5) South, Range Twenty-four (24) East, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of fractional Section Nineteen (19), Township Fire (5) South, Range Twenty-four (24) Esst, San Bernardino Meridian; thence South Fifty-four degrees, Four minutes and Sixteen seconds (54#o4'l6") last, Three Thousand Forty-one and Twenty-four Hundredth* (3,041.24) feet to the true point of >*tt*P*4ftC- Tnence due North Four Hundred Sixty-three and Twenty-two Hundredth* (463-22) feet |
