Sweazey,
Salt Lake City, Utah.

My dear Mr. Sweazey:-

Your letter to Dr. McAfee, dated July 6th, duly received at this office.

I am very much interested in what you say, as it is exactly in the line of what I had figured out as I have studied the question from here. I do not believe there is one point on which we disagree. I need not go over the different points, but feel just as you do with regard to the whole matter; and as the Board had decided, a couple of weeks ago, that the matter was to be held in abeyance until I should reach the field in the latter end of August, I do not know that we need discuss it at any further length, just now. Only let me say that I am delighted to have your mind on this whole question, and hope that with you I may be able to look into the entire condition when I reach the field. It will be indeed a great pleasure to me. I am sure I fed the responsibility of going to Utah and examining into conditions there. I hope that you may be mutually beneficial to me, as I trust that I may be of some service to the faithful men and women who have been giving their lives to that field.

With kindest regards, I am,

Very sincerely yours,

R.M.
