Show THE CHURCH REVIEW. <br><br> Methodist, Tooele. <br> The work of the conference year is almost complete. What remains undone must be laid over as "unfinished business" for next year. It has been a blessed year, the fruitage of which will be harvested in eternity. Work? Yes, any amount of it, but withal, we have the consciousness of Divine favor. Here is an extract from the pastor's report to the Fourth Quarterly Conference: "Preached 213 sermons, made 711 pastoral calls and traveled on circuit work 3027 miles." <br> We completed a series of sermons last Sunday evening on "The Certainties of the Christian Religion." The Lord has blessed the series to the good of many. It was an effort on our part to counteract the influence of a few who were persistently spreading infidel literature among our young people. <br> The church at Stockton has renovated at a cost of at least $75.00. It presents a new appearance on the interior. <br> On Thursday evening Gillilan holds our Fourth Quarterly Conference in the absence of Dr. Iliff. On the same evening, the ladies of the Stockton church are preparing to give an ice cream, cake and strawberry festival. <br> A good delegation was elected to attend our Epworth League convention in Salt Lake on the 18th. and 19th. <br> The pastor's wife has been sick for two or three weeks; her mother Mrs. J. P. Prontt, came from Silver Plume, Colorado, to visit her, but was called home by family sickness this week. Her sister Miss Stella Proutt is going to spend the summer in Utah. <br> T. J. H. <br><br> Bishop William Taylor reports his Angola Mission in Africa has acquired property to the amount of $37,484.31, and that the net profits last year, after supporting the mission, were $762.11. It is planted in a region peculiarly favorable to the system of self-support. <br> Rev. Andrew Moody of the Budapest Mission has charge of 14 colporteurs, who circulate the scriptures in as many languages. Fifteen thousand copies of Bibles and portions, 52,000 tracts and books were placed during the year, and over $4,000 realized from their sale. <br> During recent revival services at Fultonville, N. Y., a saloon keeper was converted and emptied his entire stock of liquors in the gutter.
