THE CHURCH REVIEW. <br><br> ILIFF M. E. <br> This is the last Sunday of the conference year, and we desire to express our appreciation of the many kindnesses shown us by the members of Iliff church. The first part of the season was exceedingly trying, but the latter part has been most pleasant. The turning point was the decision of the church to set apart those two days for fasting and prayer, and the blessing which followed has continued to be a benediction. "Let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not." "Fear not little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom." <br> Tonight is our last service of this year. Mrs. Plummer has kindly consented to sing. Let us come early to the Epworth League meeting and have a good closing meeting. <br> We want all the choir to come tomorrow, Monday, night at 8 o'clock sharp to practice for the Epworth League convention. Be sure to come. The program for the convention and conference will be found upon another page. <br> We greatly desire that all the members and friends of the Leagues shall attend the sessions of the convention. They will be most interesting and helpful we believe. Also come as much as possible to the conference sessions, especially to the Pentecostal meetings at four o'clock each day. <br><br> For entertainment at the meeting of the Methodist Mission guests, upon their arrival, will report to the entertainment committee at Iliff M. E. church. Only preachers and their wives and missionary teachers are entitled to entertainment. <br><br> PHILLIPS CONGREGATIONAL. <br> We had three large audiences last Sunday, having placed the Children's day exercises at the time of Sunday school. The house was filled for that occasion. Then the kindergartners sang and members of the school recited or sang. Then came the graduating exercises of the two older classes in the primary department, Miss Baker giving a bouquet and a diploma to each member of these two classes. This pleasing service might well be copied in all graded Sunday schools. <br> Our Kindergarten has closed a very successful year under the direction of Mae J. Donnelly. The average attendance has been good and the progress of the pupils very rapid. It is to be hoped that arrangements can be made even more far-reaching during the coming year. <br><br> PLYMOUTH CONGREGATIONAL. <br> Entertainment, Monday evening next at 7:30; (note the hour which is put earlier than usual for the little tots' sake.) Mrs. Reed and the kindergarten children are to give a beautiful entertainment, the kindergarten pieces proper will be interspersed with fine musical and literary selections etc., by Mrs. Deal, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Price, Miss Willis. <br> Everybody who is there will be glad they came, we are sure, and so no one should miss coming. Tickets 15 cents, children of twelve and under 10 cents. Proceeds to apply toward repairs and alterations in the kindergartner's own room. <br> We were very glad to welcome Mrs. Deal, formerly Miss House of Sandy, to our Sabbath school last week as a much needed addition to our teaching force. <br><br> FIRST M. E. <br> On next Sabbath morning there will be no preaching in this church, our people will attend the Iliff M. E. church and have the pleasure of listening to Bishop Foss preach the annual Conference sermon. <br> This being the fourth quarterly conference service Bro. Waynick of Heath M. E. church has kindly consented to preach for us this evening; we trust all our members and friends will make an effort to be present. <br> A few of our people received the impression that because of the failure to announce the services last Sunday in the morning papers there would be no service held. Should such an omission occur again let us say to you do not fail to be on hand at the usual time, because the committee having charge of the services will see to it that our pulpit is supplied with first class preachers until our new pastor is here to take the charge on himself. <br> We cannot at this date say who will preach fot us next Sunday night, Conference Sunday, but of one thing you may rest assured the committee will endeavor to have the strongest man in the conference to preach for us on that evening. <br><br> SUNDAY SCHOOL NOTES <br> Attendance last Sunday 205. <br> Several of our teachers will be absent a portion of the summer; this makes it all the more important that those who remain should be faithful in their attendance. <br> The annual report will show an enrollment of twenty-four officers and teachers, sixty-four in primary department, and 117 in main school, with a total average, attendance of 185 for the year. Let us all plan and work to secure a large increase for the coming year. <br><br>
