Show THE CHURCH REVIEW.

HEATH M. E. CHURCH.
Our missionary exercises on last Sabbath evening were very good. The recitations and readings by young people were interesting and appropriate and paper read by Deaconess Smith especially good. These exercises are to be held each month and will form a very profitable feature in our regular service. We have this evening another of the series of sermons to young people. Hope you will come.
The members of the Epworth League met at Sister DeArmond's on Tuesday night to organize a literary society in connection with League work. Its object, literary culture, Bible study, debate, etc. We want a charter membership of 100. Membership is open to all. Next meeting is Monday night at Sister DeArmond's, when a short program will be given, and permanent organization effected. A prominent feature of the society will be the Chautauqua course of Bible study, under the supervision of Sister Briggs.
Our grand concert will be given on Tuesday night, March 26th. A full musical and literary program will be given.
Many of us on account of sickness and bad weather have been missing the prayer meeting and League services. Let us get back in the ranks; every one is missed.

"Several hundred acres of unimproved land in the suburbs of Detroit were planted with potatoes for the benefit of the city's unemployed. The profit, it is reported, will exceed $6,000. So successful has been the plan that there is now serious talk of making it permanent and putting the work in charge of a regular city department to be created especially for that purpose."
"The world is not so much in need of better preaching as it is of better practice."
"The man who believes in a holy God cannot be satisfied with anything short of righteousness in himself."

Miriam Godbe Candies.
Under new management controlled by E. E. Lyman & Co., Prescription Druggists, 59 E. 2nd South St., Marian Godbe candies will hereafter be doubled in quality, strictly high grade. They are the only strictly high grade candies manufactured in the west. We guarantee this. They are equal to any $100 candies in the market. Price 75c pound. For sale by L. U King & Co., State street, Green Provo Pharmacy, State street; and Main street branch; Robinson's Pharmacy, West Temple and E. E. Lyman & Co., 59 E. 2nd South.

Carpets, Linoleums, Oil Cloth Portieres, Lace Curtains, Traveling Blankets, etc. Freed Furniture and Carpet Co., 30 to

If you desire the latest spring and summer styles in artistic dressmaking, call on Mrs. A.
