THE CHURCH REVIEW. <br><br> SECOND M. E. CHURCH. <br> Ladies' aid at Mrs. Raybould's, Thursday at two o'clock. All come. <br> Ladies' prayer meeting Friday at 3 p. m. <br> There will be an Epworth League Rally Wednesday evening of this week. Special music is being prepared for the occasion with several five minute speeches. All are invited and a special invitation is extended to all young people. The Cabinet will meet at 7 o'clock sharp. Don't fail. <br> The church extension collection reported in last week's REVIEW as $3.50 should have been $31.50. <br> Mr. and Mrs. Reeder united with the church last Sunday morning on probation. Residence, Edith Ave. North Waterloo. <br> March appointments for Murray as follows: March 10th, C. H. Campbell; March 17th, S. Allison; March 24th, Ellis Jayne; March 31st, Mrs. A. Banker; Thursday evenings, Geo. E. Jayne. <br> Wanted: 100 men, women and children to purchase sittings for the new church at $1 each. Fifty-four of these were taken last Sunday morning, and forty-six more are needed. Who will respond promptly? We have decided to put in pews for 200 people and fill out with chairs. <br> The ladies' are making elaborate preparations for their Bazaar to come off early in April. <br> A grand good work is being done at the Poor Farm and several persons from there were in our services yesterday morning and evening. Testaments are in demand. Also religious papers. The meeting today will be led by Bro. Farley. <br> Several persons ran away from their home service last Sunday evening, among whom was the pastor's wife. She justified herself by saying it was the first time in ten years she had left her own service. We wonder how she will justify herself for patronizing the street car on Sunday, when she didn't have to do so.-[Pastor] <br> Salt Lake City. <br><br> THIRD PRESBYTERIAN. <br> We were all very glad to see our Sunday school so full last Sunday. Let us keep working away in this line. <br> Our C. E society is also flourishing. We have arranged for regular monthly meetings of all our committees at the same time. The next one will be Tuesday evening at the home of our secretary, Miss Elsie Davis. In connection with it we have a "Question Box." Each member is to bring a number of written questions, and to request someone to answer them. If no one is mentioned, the leader or someone she designates will answer. Mr. McClain gave us one of the best sermons last Sunday we have had. It was on "Witnessing" and every hearer should be a better witness for the Master because of hearing it. We like such a sermon. It is better than an oratorical display that touches no hearts. He "witnessed" faithfully the power of the saving Christ. <br> Our Sunday school workers will turn out for the Sunday school social in the Y. M. C. A. rooms Monday evening, March 18th. Let all the workers in all our schools come together at that time, We need to know each other better here below, and not wait until we get to heaven. <br> We were all glad to see Miss Hulburd at our C.
