Show THE CHURCH REVIEW.

Methodist, Park City.
The election of officers for the League occurred Tuesday evening, 5th inst. Mr. Charles Paul was elected President; Mr. Chigwidden Devotional Supt.; Miss Lillie Rich, Mercy and Help; Mrs. Fox Literary, Miss Ella Richardson, Social; Mrs. Maud Doage, Sec'y, and Mr. C. A. Cochran, treasurer. The retiring officers received the hearty thanks of the League for the good work performed by them. Votes of thanks were offered to Miss Perry and Miss Yeaw. The League is helping nobly in the financial and devotional departments and the other departments have been well cared for. We are all looking for greater devotion and success in the future, and every Leaguer is earnestly requested to do something to help and to be careful to do nothing to hinder.
The Sunday school board met at the home of Sister Pox on Monday evening and planned for a Sunday school entertainment, consisting of songs, recitations, etc., followed by ice cream and cake. The officers and teachers, together with Mrs. Rich, constitute a committee on entertainment to prepare a program.
Cards were ordered for Easter and arrangements made for a fine Easter service, as missionary day all who are interested will please take notice.
About twenty singers are practicing for an illustrated song service, entitled "Whiter Than Snow," to be rendered for the benefit of the church under the auspices of the Ladies' Aid Society. Messrs. Kemp and Chigwidden are the leaders. The books were recently sent from England, and a rare musical treat is expected.

"Unless we walk where we should, somebody else will walk where they should not."

METHODIST, CORINNE.
Sunday was a beautiful day and the intermediate class of boys was larger than usual, while the primary class was overflowing. Sunday evening was devoted to temperance. The ring of temperance songs, and the pastor's sermon was temperance from beginning to end.
Quite a number of eastern visitors were in attendance at the services Sunday.
A number of Methodist people are writing in regard to land in this vicinity, and we are expecting a reinforcement.
Rev. Johnson drove over from Brigham Wednesday, and spent the afternoon with the pastor. This is the last month of the mission school at Brigham, and Miss Roe, the teacher, is beginning to talk of going home.
The children are preparing a program for an evening's entertainment, which promises to be excellent.
The Literary Society meets at the parsonage Wednesday evening for a social time. No regular program will be given.
Mrs. Mary L. Halversam, who was a mission teacher in Salt Lake City for some years, is now settled in Corinne. How much we appreciate Christian association in this field of work.

PRESBYTERIAN-AMERICAN FORK.
We were pleased to note the return of familiar faces in our last Sabbath evening audience, though the number of new faces were fewer than usual. The interest on the part of the audience were never more inspiring to the speaker than on that occasion, and it is confidently hoped that the spirit accompanied the word to very many inquiring souls.
Thirty persons were present at the family prayer service at Mr. James Condor's residence, on Monday night, and a blessed season of joy and refreshing it was. As Dr. Stalker says in his incomparable "life of Paul" concerning the experience of the little band of Christians in the midst of Jewish persecution: "It was like heaven upon earth. While Jerusalem around them was going on in its ordinary course of worldliness and ecclesiastical asperity, these few humble souls were felicitating themselves with a secret which they knew to contain within it the blessedness of mankind, and the future of the world." May the spirit of Paul's God and ours, open the eyes of our friends to this same transforming, joy bringing, hope inspiring "secret," after they have, in the day of His power been made willing to hear and receive it! Amen and Amen.

Christian Citizenship.
Tomorrow night the Christian young people of the city will make themselves heard on the subject of Good Citizenship. All the Epworth Leagues and Christian Endeavor societies most heartily unite in this mass meeting and ringing resolutions against the unmitigated evils of this community may be expected.
Constitutional Prohibition will also receive merited attention and will become the subject of a petition to the convention now in session. The formal announcement and program will be found on another page.
Immorality, vice and lawlessness are subjects well worthy the consideration of every good citizen, who can hardly be other than a Christian citizen. Members of the above named societies are especially urged to attend. C. T.
