Show INTERVIEW: Lopez Page 13 young kids, you know, radical type, they don't put it exactly say like you know, they, they're more thinking of the radical way. C: Yes. L: Which is good, I guess, to be that way. Sometimes you got to get radical to get, get your job done. I know, I get that way once in a while, myself. I don't deny it, but have you ever, have you read this book on ... "Manifestico [Manifiesto] Chicano"? C: Yes. L: Of course that, you know, shows just the, the way of it, but they have another one, I can't think, "Black" something, also. And it has a lot of information and, I haven't read it, but this guy was telling me, it was really a beautiful, a wonderful book. But I can't think what ... "Black Ho.g" something. But I haven't ..• got a girl that works at the State Office with the library, and usually she tells me all about all these new books that comes through there, you know, on organization. She asked me about some organization I had never heard of in my whole damned life! But this part of it, I guess. C: Well, Senor Lopez, I want to thank you very much for your time, and I'm sorry I took so much of it. |
