Show FEBRUARY 14.-36 to 23! Such was the score by which the 'Varsity five defeated the B. Y. U. team on the Deseret floor. The game was even and hard fought, until the last, when a sudden spurt turned the tide in Utah's favor.FEBRUARY 20.-The George Washington matinee dance, given by the Household Arts Club, proved to be most popular. Why not, with such delicious concoctions en menu and such entrancing music?FEBRUARY 20.-A 34-27 victory for Utah eliminated the Aggies from the race for the championship.FEBRUARY 27.-In spite of the obstacles, set forth as usual by the bothersome Sophs, the Freshman play was well received and highly complimented. Never yet have sturdy "Amazons" been vanquished by such trifles as snuff!FEBRUARY 28.-The first national women's sorority in Utah was established when the Theta Upsilon Sorority became the forty-first chapter of Chi Omega fraternity. Its open declaration, "Hellenic Culture and Christian Ideals," will mean much to the University. Forty guests enjoyed the installation banquet at the Hotel Utah. The table was beautifully decorated with white carnations and ribbons of cardinal and straw, the sorority colors. The menu books of cardinal ooze leather contained the date of the installation of the Xi Alpha chapter, the names of those initiated, the menu, the toasts, the songs, and the seal of Chi Omega. The interesting toasts were uniquely arranged to represent a unit, the Greek temple. The toastmistress was Claire Wilcox and the toasts responded to were:Foundations.................
